Normally there are two ways that you may try to make IE work more quickly in the garments/apparel manufacturing area.

Note: AI-NLP (Artificial Intelligence-Natural Language Processing)

Step One: Make a data entry form with Google Form.

1. Open the Chrome browser and type (https://forms.google.com) and go to that page. If you don’t have a Google account, create one first and then sign in.

2. Now you need to create a new form. For doing this, you need to click the icon (a plus “+” blank button).

3. Now you need to write the title name that you will find at the top section. After that, click the title area and write: Any name, for example: Hourly Production Input

4. You will find the description box under the title. in that box type: any name, for example: Enter Production Quantity.

5. Now you need to add the multiple fields.

Field A: Sewing Operator ID

• Go to the question box and write the sewing operator ID in the question box.
• On the right side, you need to check the question type: short answer.
• Required: On (bottom & right of the question).

Field B: Sewing Operator Name

• Click the “+” button (on the right), and after that you will see a new question option.
• You may type “Sewing Operator Name,” for example.
• Question type: Short answer
• Required: ON

Field C: Sewing Line No.

• Click the “+” button.
• You need to type “Sewing Line No.”
• Question type: Short answer
• Required: ON

Field D: Sewing Hour

• Click the “+” button.
• You need to change type to Dropdown portion
• Set question to hour
• Add time options (click “+” so that you can add an option for each):

08:00 – 09:00
09:00 – 10:00
10:00 – 11:00
11:00 – 12:00
12:00 – 01:00
02:00 – 03:00
03:00 – 04:00
04:00 – 05:00

• Required: ON

Field E: Production Quantity (pieces)

• Click the “+” button.
• You may type “Production Quantity (pieces)” in the Question field.
• Question type: Short answer
• Required: ON
• Now you need to click the three dots option (︙) for response validation.
• Choose Number

Field F: Defect Quantity (optional input)

• Click the “+” button.
• You may type “Defect Quantity (optional input)” in the Question field.
• Question type: Short answer
• Required: Off
• Response validation: Number

Field G: Comments (optional input)

• Click the “+” button.
• You may type “Comments (optional input)” in the Question field.
• Question type: Paragraph
• Optional

6. Now you need to change settings. You will find it in the top right (gear icon ⚙).

• Edit after submit: ON (so that input person can correct after mistakes)
• After that you need to save this setting.

7. You may click “Preview (eye icon)” so that you can see how this form will look. Now you need to link this form to Google Sheets.

Step Two: Link the created form to Google Sheets so that data collection is done automatically.

1. In the Forms editor, you need to click the Responses tab that you will find next to Questions.

2. Now you need to click the green Sheets icon, and it looks like a green table.

3. Now create a new spreadsheet.

4. After that you will see that a new Google Sheets file opens.

Note: when someone submits the form with production quantity, a new row with data will be seen in this form automatically.

Step Three: Make a QR code for every manpower on the sewing floor so that they can input data (per hour produced quantity).

Step Four: After that Google Sheets will automatically collect the data (per hour produced quantity) according to line.

Step Five: Set equation to Google Sheets for finding production problems (bottleneck analysis), doing capacity analysis, line balancing, etc.
